Pros and cons of Money Journal app for iPhone and iPad

Money Journal app good for

Etwas mehr Flexibilität in der Konfiguration wäre noch toller...
This is by far in my opinion the best finance tracker application. The UI is great and easy to navigate. I will give this app. a 5 star if the developer add in a few more options in the next update: 1. Add options to view entire month breakdown of expense and show the date of that expense. 2. Add autofill of last entry in the description for fast input. Thank you!
It really helped me keep track of my cash flow, as well as my receipts when I input my info. (Saved me when i needed to return an item. Thumbs up on the ability to take pictures and tag to the dates.) I love the category and charts. Back then I used "numbers" or "excel" but after this app.... Really sleek and tidy! Simple!!!!! Ps: to get to current day, just give ur iPhone a shake! This function was there since V1.0... Find out more in the help selection to find a built in Manual. Yes I read it!
Easy to use and keeps me financially organized under my busy schedule
Really enjoy this app. I find it much better the Back in Black as it allows for more up front information and for me ease of use.
Thanks to this app I can realize, in an easy way, how much do I spend in things. I can see clearly now... Hahahaha

Some bad moments

INCOMPATIBILITY WITH OS 12 - HELP!! I happened upgrading OS unwilly, now my app is not working anymore, and I can't have access to my data (many tears of use); apple is not helping because they don't allow to restore a previous OS: does anybody know how I can get in touch with the developer OR helping me some how? txs, francesca
App crashes all the time. Their solution? Restart your iphone. Really...no other apps require that. No ability to have budgets for types of purchases, eg no grocery budget, no house budget. Try HomeBudget. Its not perfect but its much better.
Now that it doesnt support my phone anymore (3G), I cant even download the app again!!! Hey, I paid for this, and I cant download it!!! I had to reset my phone and now the app I loved is gone forever... Lame update..
This app was great. I used it multiple times daily for probably 4 or 5 years. Now that Ive updated to iOS 10 the app just crashes every time you try to enter anything. I reached out to the company that makes it, and they never got back to me. Thats when I noticed that it hasnt been updated since 2012... oh well, I guess I got my moneys worth; but now Ill have to find another. Definitely avoid this app.
In 2009 why do I want just a check register to note what I just bought. Due to this application, I will never purchase another app that does not have a free lite version for me to review first. Can I get a store credit for this crap app?
For the price of $4.99 I expect more features than just tracking in/out transaction. Icons too boring! Should have a lite version for consumer test trial. I pay the same price for HomeBudget app for a more sophisticate features that do more for your money than this app. I feel cheated!
